Arabella personally chooses Dakota Fanning!…..

I believe that Dakota’s stellar contribution to the Screen Actor’s Guild Awards show almost equaled her superb performances on the screen. She was a presenter for former child star Shirley Temple Black and did so in exemplary fashion! Of course it is her work on the big screen that gives her a place on this list.

Hannah Dakota Fanning was born in Conyers , Georgia on February 23rd, 1994 to Joy and Steve Fanning.
She has a younger sister, Mary Elle Fanning who is also an actress.

At age 12 (she just had another birthday) Dakota has already outdistanced her peers by appearing in 15 films and has appeared on television at least 31 times! She was the youngest person ever to be nominated for a Screen Actors Guild award for her role as Lucy Diamond Dawson in “I Am Sam” with Sean Penn. Her resume also includes such mega-hits as “Man on Fire” (2004) with Denzel Washington, “Hide and Seek” (2005) with Robert DeNiro and “War of the Worlds” (also in 2005) with Tom Cruise.

Dakota now has two more films in production and two in development which makes her very busy for months to come. And with schoolwork an added necessity the little lady has a whole lot on her plate!

Kevin Kavalutich from Manchester, Vermont chooses Jamie Foxx!

 Dear Arabella,

“I think that when you are nominated twice for two separate movies in the same award period and then won the big one, you should be a candidate for Legend of Tomorrow. So where is Jamie Foxx’s name?”

Apparently waiting for you, Kevin! Jamie Foxx certainly does deserve to be on this list because he is one of today’s most talented and versatile actors.

Jamie Foxx was born Eric Morton Bishop on December 13 th, 1967 in Terrell , Texas . He has a daughter, Corrine, age 11.

The traumatic years from birth to high school made a man out of Eric Morton. The years of hard work between high school and his Oscar-winning role in “Ray” were the milestones that made Jamie Foxx an actor…. and the first black actor to have double nominations in the same year. He was in San Diego at the US International University on a piano scholarship when comedy captured his fancy. He took a non-gender-specific stage name to open more doors and jumped right into show business…and how lucky we are!

Jamie now has two pictures in production…”Dreamgirls” for Dreamworks with Beyonce and Eddie Murphy…”Miami Vice” for Universal with Colin Farrell.
